Nollywood actress and film producer, Allwell Ademola, has reportedly passed away at the age of 43, according to information circulating within the Nigerian entertainment industry on Saturday.
Sources within the film community disclosed that the actress was suspected to have suffered a heart attack at her residence before she was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. As at the time of filing this report, no official statement had been issued by her family to confirm the incident.
The news of her reported death has thrown the Nollywood industry into mourning, with colleagues and fans expressing shock and disbelief over the development.
Reacting to the reports, popular actress Bidemi Kosoko openly questioned the news, expressing hope that it would turn out to be untrue while offering prayers for a positive outcome.Another colleague, Faithia Williams, shared her grief on Instagram, describing the news as deeply painful. “Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke. Allahu Akbar..Allwell,” she wrote.
Tributes have continued to pour in from colleagues and fans across social media, as the Nollywood community awaits official confirmation while mourning the reported loss of the actress.
