The Professor Peter Olufemi Adeniyi Foundation (PPOAF) has officially commissioned the upgraded Egbeoba High School Library, marking a significant milestone in educational infrastructure within Ekiti State.

Valued at over ₦N13.2 million, the project transformed the school’s library into a modern hybrid learning centre, featuring 1,164 new physical books and a digital e-library suite of eight desktop computers powered by a custom-built 4kW/24V solar inverter system that ensures uninterrupted power supply.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, represented by Dr. Adebayo Adeyinka, who commissioned the upgraded library, alongside officials of the state Ministry of Education, community members, leaders, and royal fathers in Ikole Ekiti, commended PPOAF for its efforts in bridging the digital divide.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Jospeh Ojo, was full of excitement as he believes that the project would lift the quality of learning for his students. Parallel to the upgrade, PPOAF hosted a capacity building workshop for over 150 community leaders focused on strategic partnerships and resource mobilisation.
