BREAKING: Enough Is Enough: Donald Trump Says US Has Prohibited Israel From Bombing Lebanon

US President Donald Trump has said the United States has ordered that Israel must no longer carry out airstrikes in Lebanon, declaring that such operations have been “prohibited” under US policy as Washington pushes to stabilize a fragile regional ceasefire.

Speaking in remarks reported from the White House, Trump said the US position was firm that military action against Lebanon should stop following recent diplomatic developments involving Israel and Lebanese actors, including Hezbollah. He described the decision in emphatic terms, stating that “enough is enough,” and insisted that the US would enforce the restriction as part of broader efforts to prevent further escalation in the region.

According to Times of Israel, Trump also rejected earlier reports suggesting that Washington was considering a financial arrangement with Iran involving the exchange of frozen assets for nuclear materials.

He dismissed the idea of any monetary deal, saying the US would instead take custody of nuclear-related materials without financial compensation.

In his comments, he further separated ongoing negotiations involving Iran from developments related to Lebanon, arguing that the two issues should not be linked diplomatically.

According to Trump, the Lebanon ceasefire and broader regional arrangements are being handled on different tracks, with the US working directly with Lebanon on security matters.

He added that while the US would continue engaging with Lebanese authorities on the situation involving Hezbollah, Israel would not be permitted to resume bombing operations in Lebanese territory.

The statement marks one of the strongest public assertions of US restrictions on Israeli military activity in recent months.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing international efforts to manage ceasefire arrangements along Israel’s northern border.

Washington’s position, as described by Trump, signals increased US involvement in shaping the operational limits of the conflict while attempting to prevent renewed escalation between Israel and Hezbollah forces operating in southern Lebanon.
