The quarter-final fixtures for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations have been confirmed, with defending champions Nigeria set for a blockbuster clash against Cameroon.
The last-eight line-up was completed on Thursday after Cameroon secured top spot in Group D with a 1-1 draw against debutants Cape Verde in Casablanca.
The draw saw Cameroon finish unbeaten in the group with seven points from three matches, setting up a quarter-final meeting with Nigeria, who advanced as runners-up in Group C.
Cape Verde exited the competition after earning their first-ever point at WAFCON.
The quarter-finals begin on Saturday, with Ivory Coast taking on Algeria in Casablanca before hosts Morocco face defending runners-up South Africa in Rabat.
On Sunday, Cameroon will meet Nigeria in Casablanca, while Malawi face Ghana in Rabat.
The four quarter-final winners will qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
